...There are over 100 Civil War veterans buried in Evergreen Hill cemetery?

 

 Over 100 Civil War Veterans are buried at Evergreen Hill. The GAR records indicate that men from the Chagrin Valley served in 68 separate units, including 19 in Co D of the 7th Ohio Volunteer Infantry, 37 in Co D of the 103rd OVI, 10 in Co A 23rd OVI and 14 in Co B Ohio Volunteer Calvary
